Distribeauty supports Children in Need with "BearFaces"

I think I speak for most in the elf office that we love our makeup! I can't remember the last time that I walked out of the house Bare Faced!

But Today in the name of Children in need, we brave ladies are facing our worst nightmares and going "BearFaced" to help raise money for the fantastic Charity!

Today all the elf ladies will be walking around with not a scrap of makeup on our faces! Without sounding dramatic at all this is painful for us! ESPECIALLY since we are surrounded by so much amazing make up here at e.l.f HQ!

How much is your Face worth?

We've been seeing a lot of "How much is your face worth" posts floating around the blogmosphere lately with gorgeous girlies declaring how much their daily makeup routine costs them and this has given us a bright little idea!

Now we all know e.l.f is a beauty brand with quality products at pocket friendly prices, but have you ever sat down and worked out how much you could save if you swapped that expensive high street brand for an elf alternative?

Well we thought it would be interesting to find out! For a bit of fun we would like you to submit a photo of you wearing your everyday make up along with the total cost and list of products that you use everyday!

We will then take a look at your list and our clever little elves will help you find your elf budget alternatives! Our favourites will be featured here and we will pick 3 lucky winners to win their elf Alternatives! Whoop!

Philippa Smith It has to be the Studio Eyebrow Lifter And Filler. It doesn't matter how well I do the rest of my make up, it could be immaculate, I would still look like an absolute freak without the eyebrow pencil as I practically have no eyebrows!! I get lots of compliments on my eyebrows and asked how I get them into such a nice shape. I'm always honest and say they are drawn on but it's just shows how good the pencil is that people think they are my real brows! I literally wouldn't manage without it, it is a total essential to my daily routine!

Friday Favourites Time! WIN 3 of the e.l.f Cosmetics All Over Colour Stick!

Hi guys

Today's Friday Fave is the e.l.f Cosmetics All Over Colour Sticks! These multi-use products are perfect for an all over touch up! They can be used on the eyes for adding definition, on the cheeks as a blush and highlight or even on the lips for a gorgeous lip colour!

I used three of the e.l.f All Over Colour Sticks today to create this natural look : 

On the Eyes:
I used the e.l.f All Over Colour Stick in Golden Peach to give them a wider look. I also sweeped it across the lids to brighten them up.

On the Lips:
I used e.l.f All Over Colour Stick in Pink Lemonade to give my lips a really pretty and subtle pink colour, it also leaves them lips with a really nice velvet/satin like finish. I also used All Over Colour Stick in Spotlight on my cupids bow to make the lips look more defined.

On the Face:
To give my face a healthy sheen and glow, I used Pink Lemonade again on the apples of my cheeks to create a rosy glow. Then using the All Over Colour Stick in Spotlight on the most prominent areas of my face such as cheek bones and bridge of the nose to highlight.
