Its Fridays Favourites time, lets talk Studio Body Shimmer!

Hi Everyone!

This week I simply had to pick one of my personal favourites to share with you all, e.l.f Cosmetics Studio body Shimmers.

They are available in 4 gorgeous colours, Mystic Moonlight, Cosmic Coral, Blazing Bronze and Golden Glow. All equally delicious and at just £3.50 each they're a holiday essential!

Mystic moonlight is perfect for highlighting, all over! Whether on your brow bone, nose, cupids bow, the sheer shimmer is absolutely perfect to create perfect contouring and highlighting day or night!

Cosmic Coral is the go to for blush on the go. The pigmentation in this shimmer stick is so dense that just the smallest sweep can create a rosy glow in a few seconds! There's only one thing to remember - BLEND!

Golden glow is simply asking for summer. The pigmented golden cream with scatters of sparkle can turn anyone into a bronzed goddess. A sneaky trick from bronzed pins is to apply a stripe of Golden Glow to the front of your leg and blend to create an elongated bronzes look.

Blazing bronze is not one for the feint hearted! This amazingly pigmented bronze cream is incredibly intense but beyond beautiful. This is my all time favourite bronze for sultry summer eyes and is amazing when applied to collar bones to create definition on bronzed skin.

The best thing about the Studio Body shimmers is that they can be used anywhere. The pigmentation in the bronze, golden and coral shades is so gorgeous once you've seen them for yourselves they're pretty hard to resist and the mystic moonlight is a must have in its own right, highlight to your hearts content! But remember -  keep them at arms length from your friends! :0)
So, you all know the deal with our Friday Favourites :0), and this week, we're giving you the chance to win all four of these fabulous Studio Body Shimmers, perfect timing for a Spring time shimmer! To win this gorgeous 4 some we want to know, How do you use shimmer? - do you highlight or are you a fan of an all over glow?

  1. As soon come the summer they would use the low-cut evening dresses to make my skin glow, and especially this summer with a tan are ideal to make it shine.

  12. I can't get enough of this stuff! Golden Glow is a fantastic highlighter, I put it on my cheekbones, under my eyebrows and a bit on the bridge of my nose.
I also put it on my calf muscles and collar bones to make them pop/look more defined AND it is also a very good primer for under eyeshadows, can make any matte eyeshadow look sparkly! It's a must have in my makeup bag, couldn't live without it!!
Cosmic coral goes on as a lovely pale pink blusher, great for pale skin tones. I haven't yet bought the other two, but would love to get them a twirl. Let's hope we get the weather to go with the Blazing bronze!!

  13. *Dipp a fluffy brush into the shimmer
    *Tap the brush gently
*sweep the brush on the face that you want to highlight, like the apples of your cheeks, forehead, temples or/and node and chin.

That's how i apply it :) Its really nice in the summer when the sun is shining and you get the shimmer effect on your face. So little can do so much.

  14. When I read about thoes shimmers I thought that hey would look goergous on my skin in some summer party with tanned skin and some short dress. I love to use it on my décolleté. It just look so pretty

  15. Using shimmer is quite easy...It is a bit loud for daytime....so it is preferred for evening or nighttime. You use shimmer to highlight certain areas of your face. I start off by using a well rounded brush...dip it in...tap off the excess then lightly dust to the areas you want it...like the apples of your cheeks, your forehead temples, nose and even chin. Shimmer is also dusted on the shoulders, for the strapless looks and it always helps along cleavage...so you can dust it in that area also!!

  16. Usually, I use this on my cheekbones to have a nice sparkle. I am addicted-to-photos, so sparkle is better than faded. Then I give a sparkle to my eye lid and lips too. I just love how it feels!

  21. For photoshoots I love to add a nice bronzing shimmer (Golden glow) to highlight my legs, arms and cleavage and occasionally shoulders. For my face I like to use a pink girlish highlighter (Cosmic coral) under my cheekbones, on my chin and just a hint on my forehead. These shades I also find very good to make my complexion look healthier. I'm quite pale with a yellowish tone, but these bring out my skin to look really nice.

  22. I use it on my cheek bone area and on my collar bone area. I only have Cosmic coral at the moment, but am planning to get the other three colours to try them out. I'm going to a social event soon and am intending to use this product to make me look presentable! Considering I'm not a person who wears a lot of make-up in general, I have to say I'm a big fan of this product and would wear this all the time.

  39. When I first heard of shimmer makeup I had no idea how to use it, and wasn’t sure I wanted to add another step to my beauty routine, however, adding shimmer to my makeup arsenal has not only brought my face to life; it has taken years off of my appearance. However, you must use shimmer with caution since it draws attention to anything it touches. I tend to focus on my best features, such as brow bones, cheekbones, and lips. One exception to this rule is when used under the eyes to cover dark circles, as subtle shimmer will reflect light, and help to conceal. My common way to apply shimmer is to trace the shape of a “3” on my face starting at my temple. This techniqe highlights my face in all the right places. Make sure to blend well, as you don’t want to see any visible lines. Remember, with shimmer, less is more. When making selection, I go for subtle shimmer for an everyday look, and leave the dramatic looks for evening. Shimmer can be as addicting as lipstick because of the incredible results you can achieve. If you haven’t added this to your beauty routine yet, I highly recommend giving it a try; you may be surprised at the face you see in the mirror.

  41. i love to use shimmer..because They're a great accessory to wear with low-cut or off-the-shoulder gowns, as well as short, flirty skirts! i prefer to Apply Body Shimmer Powders prior to dressing to avoid powder sparkles falling onto clothing.I brush on using light strokes so we can control the amount dispensed. Then layer more until the desired effect is achieved.and finally make sure for best results when applying Body Shimmer Powders, the skin should be completely dry, with no moisturizing cream residue.

I adore things that can be used for different things and body parts. especially during summer days I use body shimmer often as a blush, eyeshadow or even put it on my lips, in combination with clear lipgloss. For a night out I put it on my decolletage and shoulders before dressing to avoid sparkles falling onto clothing. I love how it enhance the color of my tan.

I use shimmers on my brides, especially when/if they are wearing a boob tube dress. I apply the shimmer on the chest and cleavage area. I then brush some on the back and shoulders as well. When the sunlight hits the bride, the result is a nice warm glow... Amazing!!!

  58. I use shimmer on top of my cheekbones, on the tip of my nose, on top of my cupids' bow, and a cheeky bit in my cleavage! All of these are amazing for summer. Life's too short not to sparkle all the way! xoxox
