“We’re thrilled to have the support of e.l.f. during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, which will raise vital funds for our work in supporting women with ovarian cancer.”

About Target

Target Ovarian Cancer is the national ovarian cancer charity working to save lives and help women diagnosed live their lives to the full, wherever they live in the UK. They do this by:
  • Improving early diagnosis
  • Finding new treatments
  • Providing support for women with ovarian cancer.
There is an urgent need to secure progress. 6,500 women are diagnoses each year and sadly 4,400 women lose their lives each year. The UK has amongst the lowest survival rates in Europe. There have been no new life-extending treatments in over 20 years. If we were able to achieve what has been achieved in breast cancer in the last twenty years, over 3,000 women would survive each year.

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and a major opportunity to help more women know about the symptoms of the disease so they can discuss it with their GP.

The Limited Edition Target bag contains the following 3 fabulous products...
e.l.f Cosmetics Purple Pleaser Nail polish

e.l.f Studio Cream eyeliner in Purple

e.l.f Cosmetics All over Colour Stick in Lilac Petal.
The gift bag is available online at www.eyeslipsface.co.uk for £5. £1 from each sale during March will be donated to Target Ovarian Cancer.

Thanks for helping us support such a great cause.

Love

  1. I think this is a brilliant idea! I'm a nurse and I did my final placement on a cancer ward. It was so hard to see people coming in being newly diagnosed and then as the weeks went becoming weaker and battling to stay alive, I've also done some work on a breast cancer unit and worked with some marie curie cancer nurses who deserve a medal for their hard work and dedication. I'm going to forward this post on my blog and would urge all other bloggers to do the same so that we can try and bring awareness to such a worthy cause! Just think, it could be our mothers, sisters, daughters and friends who're diagnosed next...let's help to try and prevent it before this happens.

  2. Looks like a great set for a great cause. I don't think people get enough information about the different types of cancer and symptoms that they should be looking for. I think doing something like this really does make people stop and think about it, even if it is for a split second.

The target bag looks great and I'm sure lots of people will be purchasing it. Well done elf!
